| Mineralized Zones: RhondaThe Rhonda area is due east of the Lorraine Main Area.
The Dorothy and Rhonda Zones are associated with an elongate northeast trending diorite body cutting Takla Group volcanics both of which are cut by stage two Duckling Creek syenites. The style of mineralization, presence of moly and the alteration assemblage of Dorothy and Rhonda is different than the copper occurrence further to the northwest. It has been suggested that the diorite body is more closely related to the older phases of the Hogem Batholith rather than the Duckling Creek syenite complex.
Drill Results
Three holes were drilled on the Rhonda Target in 2005 to test a broad zone of mineralization and alteration associated with a 450 metre wide IP chargeability anomaly and these holes all intersected significant copper mineralization indicating a large system may be present.
