Lorraine Copper Corp. Project Updates

November 20, 2017, Vancouver, BC - Lorraine Copper Corp. ("Lorraine Copper") (TSX-V: LLC) is pleased to announce that the field program on the Lustdust Project funded by Sun Metals Corp. a company founded by Oxygen Capital Corp., north of Fort St. James, BC has been completed and a program has now started on the OK Project near Powell River, BC.

Lustdust Project:
Work began in early August and continued to late October. The program was designed to expand and add to the extensive data base to cover exploration targets outlined from previous work and comprised the following:

  • The extensive historical soil geochemical grids were expanded to the west, north, east and south totalling 744 samples along 39 km of lines.
  • 28 km of IP and magnetic geophysical surveys were completed over the core area which hosts several skarn and manto occurrences including the Canyon Creek Skarn.
  • 3 core holes were completed with the purpose of confirming continuity of geometry and grade in different zones: one hole was placed in the copper-gold rich Canyon Creek Skarn, a second hole was placed in the No. 4 zinc-gold-rich manto and the third hole was directed at the gold-bearing No. 1Vein.
  • 45 rock samples were taken from several mineral occurrences.

The data is currently being compiled and assay and analytical data are expected in mid-December from the sampling and drilling programs. Preliminary evaluation of the geophysical surveys indicates that most of the grid surveyed has a strongly anomalous signature with very strong linear components within. The survey confirms the exceptional extent of the hydrothermal system associated with the mineralized zones and will be combined with geochemistry and geology to target drill holes for the 2018 program.

OK Project:
An IP/magnetic geophysical survey is underway on the 100% owned OK project and is expanding the previous grid survey to the south, beginning just south of the North Lake Zone, an open-ended resource containing 86.8 Mt grading 0.31% copper and 0.014% molybdenum. Prior geochemical sampling indicates that the mineralizing system extends for at least 5 km southeast from the North Lake Zone and IP and geochemical anomalies continue for 2 km north-northwest from the North Lake Zone. It is expected that this program will be completed before month-end.
