Mineralized Zones: All Alone Dome

All Alone Dome is located one kilometer northwest of Lorraine, along strike from the southwest-dipping alteration panels through the Lorraine Main area. The dome has limited ridge-crest outcrop and talus along the upper flanks, lower flanks are tree covered with very limited outcrop.

The Dome is flanked on its south and north sides by moderate to strong copper and weak gold in soil anomalies. The bedrock source of these anomalies are unknown but they may represent indications of extensions of the Lower Main zone of Lorraine.

New IP data suggest this target is now over 2 km long.

2007 Deep IP Cross Section

The All Alone Dome North target is an overburden covered 200-300m wide 1.2-1.6km long chargeability anomaly extending northwest of All Alone Dome on lines 5300N -- 6500N and possibly to 6900N. The chargeability anomaly is coincidental with a linear airborne magnetic high and anomalous copper in soil geochemistry on lines 5300N to 6900N. The strongest IP response is on line 6100N where the size and strength is comparable to the chargeability response from the mineralization of the Bishop zone.

Three shallow diamond drill holes located between lines 5300N and 5700N tested the southeast end of this target intersecting disseminated py-cpy and magnetite returning 0.13% Cu over 12.1m in hole 04-71. This drilling is over 700m southeast of the strongest chargeabilities located on line 6100N.
