Mineralized Zones: 2 GoodThe 2 Good target is located south of the Lorraine Main Zone.
It was previously drill tested by 9 shallow drill holes that were not deep enough to test the deeper, stronger portions of the chargeability anomalies outlined by the 2007 IP survey.
The previous drilling has intersected albite-diopside-magnetite alteration suggesting a location on the fringe of an alkalic porphyry system. Pyrite and pyrite-chalcopyrite sulfide zonation in hole 05-101 indicates previous drilling is not deep enough to intersect the chalcopyrite and bornite zones of a porphyry system and several holes intersected barren post mineral dykes.
2007 Deep IP Cross Section
It can be seen that historical drilling was not deep enought to test the large anomaly present. Additional deeper drilling is required to follow up the Deep IP and test this target.
